Theme‑Based Art Gallery | Landscapes, Florals, Figures

SUBJECTS I PAINT

A curated look at the themes I return to most— landscapes, flowers, figures, sky scenes, and more

Figures

I capture gesture and attitude more than perfect detail.

Beach and Water Scenes

I paint the movement and the colors that shift all day long.

Flowers

My floral paintings are all about texture and color.

Landscapes & Seascapes

I paint memories of places I’ve seen and places I imagine.

Cloud Paintings

Clouds are my playground for color and atmosphere.

Still Life

Lighting and color have their stage in a still life painting.

Trees

Twists, turns, and rhythm navigate the canvas with the wind.

Wildlife Art

Character‑driven animal pieces with a modern edge.

Houses

These are done in a tighter, more detailed style than the rest of my work.

The Blue Angels of Pensacola

Have you seen them? You haven't lived until you've been to an airshow by the "U.S. Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron".

The Blue Angels are based at Sherman Field on NAS Pensacola, as is the National Naval Aviation Museum, home to over 150 beautifully restored aircraft.

The Blue Angels offer visitors TWO free airshows each year, the first being the week following Independence day and the last being Veteran's Day weekend. Their weekly practices from March through November are also spectacular.

The Independence Day show, famously known as the "Pensacola Beach Airshow", happens during “Red, White, and Blues Week” after July 4th.

Then on Veteran’s Day weekend, the Blue Angels wrap up their performance season on their home turf with the "Blue Angels Homecoming Airshow".

A little history:

The shows began at Craig Field in Jacksonville FL in 1946. They have been in Pensacola since the 1950s, and Pensacola folks call them "Our Blues."

Today the Blue Angels Flight Demonstration Squadron are the most famous mascot for Naval aviation in the world. They perform perilous maneuvers in exhibitions all over the US and Canada and occasionally in locations outside of North America.  In 2025, the Blue Angels have 34 air shows scheduled.

The talented and courageous team's motto is "Teamwork. Professionalism. Precision." And they definitely have to be all three to accomplish those amazing maneuvers in the jets!
